Health Action: Opthamologist Visit!

I finally gave up on wondering where my glasses have disappeared to since moving and my vacation in November.  I vaguely remember using them in December, but I don't think I've seen them this year.  So i made an appointment to see the opthamologist.  I stopped by the office today just to make an appointment, and within ten minutes I was in seeing Dr. Kevin, and in under an hour, I had a full eye exam and a new pair of prescription glasses on order!  I was seriously impressed at how easily that all occurred.  I will be the first to admit that in terms of eye health I haven't been that great at keeping up with doctors' recommendations.  Apparently my last visit was in October of 2007, when I went to get a replacement pair of glasses because I had left a previous pair in Chicago over six months earlier.  As I remember correctly, it had been several years since I had gone for an annual exam then as well.
